Attorney Mary Lois Spain-Sipes

Mary Lois lives in Wise County and is married to Joe Sipes; they have two young children, Luke and Josie. Mary Lois is a hometown girl having grown up on a dairy farm in Decatur. She is the daughter of Ed and Vicki Spain. She is the granddaughter of Clyde and Mavis Spain of Decatur and the daughter-in-law of Sharon Sipes of Decatur.

Before going solo, Mary Lois was a partner attorney at Reeves Spain-Sipes Law, LLP. Previously, Mary Lois was employed as a title attorney at PetroCounsel, an oil and gas law firm. Mary Lois is a member of the Family Law Section and Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Texas Bar and a certified guardian ad litem.

Mary Lois graduated from Decatur High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Agriculture from Texas Tech University. Mary Lois attended Florida Coastal School of Law where she obtained a Juris Doctorate.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mary Lois had the opportunity to live in Washington, D.C. and work as Presidential Congressional Intern for Congressman Lamar Smith, Texas District 21, and as an intern for the White House Office of Media Affairs.
